David Herrera Performance Co. completes their current season with a first time visit to Chicago's
Links Hall May 28-30, 2010. DHPCo. debuts “(A Slice of) Americana” a preview from its anticipated 2010/11 Home Season “Americana”. The full-length multi-media work examines and questions nostalgic ideals of American Life and their iconification in the collective American memory. The segments, “Kiss and Tell”, “American Fame: A Not-so-True Story” and “We (Also) Built this City” interpret how those notions manifest, evolve, or repeat themselves in current social and political climates. Stay tuned for the premiere of “Americana” in the Fall of 2010.
